It has been three years since the Munich lawyers Vincenz von Braun, Dr. Christoph Herbst and Alexander Reus joined forces with Tobias Wahl from Mannheim. In Mannheim, Wahl had taken over the insolvency department from the law firm Irschlinger Raff P\u00f6schke in 2006. Like his new partners, he had originally learned the business at the insolvency boutique par excellence – Wellensiek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Wellensiek school emphasizes the consensus principle in insolvency proceedings. The new set-up in Munich was accordingly consensual. Their teacher, Dr. Jobst Wellensiek, remained sympathetic to the younger lawyers, for example by mandating them in 2008 in his function as insolvency administrator of Papierfabrik Scheufelen. This gave the new firm a further boost after an office was added in Ulm just six months after its founding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The partner there, Prof. Dr. Martin H\u00f6rmann, who had moved from Schneider Geiwitz & Partner, handled the first major insolvency proceedings at Anchor in March 2010.
